Did i miss the deadline?

Life’s twists and turns sometimes lead to missed opportunities, and I understand that a newborn shoot might not always align with the chaos of reality. But fear not! We’re not turning you away if you give us a call and your bundle of joy happens to be 4, 5, or even 6 weeks old! Despite all the theories, the success of a shoot boils down to how your baby feels on the day, plain and simple. And let me tell you, older babies can produce some absolutely breathtaking photos; it might just require a bit of extra patience to soothe and settle them.

So, what can you expect from a session with a baby over 3 weeks old?

While the sleepy, perfectly curled-up poses of a brand-new newborn might be less likely, we’ll pivot towards capturing your little one dressed snugly, nestled in a basket, and wide awake. You might find yourself more involved in the photoshoot, cradling your baby close, as their comfort and ease are paramount in creating stunning images.

Your baby might be wide-eyed and bushy-tailed throughout the session, eschewing sleep entirely. But rest assured, I’ll pull out all the stops to ensure we still capture some breathtaking moments for you to treasure, even if they’re more alert than anticipated.

And if things don’t go exactly as planned? Well, it happens. I want to stress this to all my clients: babies aren’t robots. They’re tiny beings with their own unique personalities. Just like us, they have their good days and bad days. Maybe they’re feeling a bit under the weather, or perhaps they’re just not in the mood for posing that day. But fret not; tomorrow is a new day, and your little one might be an entirely different ballgame. So, let’s embrace the unpredictability of life with a smile and a camera in hand, ready to capture the beautiful journey of your growing family, one precious moment at a time.
